In preperation for this blog, I came across this article. It makes a great argument for not allowing comments.

I’m not going to do that though. I WANT comments and emails from my readers. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t put my thoughts on the internet.

I will, however, not allow anonymous comments for two reasons:

1. I want to build a mental profile of each of my readers
2. I want to avoid spam and comment flooding

So, please register, and let me know what you think.

I really want to get this first post out of the way. I’ve always wanted to have a blog because I feel that I have a unique perspective, I also research topics and I tend to be highly opinionated on things I care deeply about.

Up till this point, I’ve forced my lovely wife to listen to my ramblings. Now, my audience includes anyone with a computer. Yes, this means you.
